Active minds is a safe space and support club with the mission of breaking the stigma around mental health. Active mind is a large organization that can be found online and at other campuses. Our clubs main goal on campus is to change the conversation around mental health for students by promoting healthy coping, listening and helping each other, and sharing personal experiences. |

Our club is hosted through our Cosmetology Program. We attend all campus activities to share our services and work provided by the students of the Cosmetology Program. Our club members meet monthly to discuss upcoming events and ways to improve our program experience. We have our meetings the last Friday of the month held in the cosmetology department |

TADA (Theatre Arts and Dramatic Activities) is Gavilan College's theatre club! The TADA club opens opportunities for students to engage with theatre, both on and off campus from skill-building workshops to seeing plays. TADA always strives to be a friendly and welcoming community and club, with frequent activities and events to create bonds between club members. Our club advisors are Izzy Quistian, the Technical Coordinator and Director of Gavilan College Theatre, and Dr. John Haehl, Faculty member and Professor in the Theatre Department at Gavilan College. Meetings take place in the Theatre Building on the Gilroy Campus at 3:10pm every Wednesday. |

The Gavilan Engineering And Research (GEAR) Club is a vibrant community of aspiring engineers and researchers. We are dedicated to fostering innovation and hands-on learning in the field of engineering. Our members collaborate on exciting projects, from designing and building robots to creating sustainable Garden projects. GEAR offers a platform for students to expand their technical knowledge and develop practical skills while working on real-world challenges. Join us to gear up for a future filled with creativity, problem-solving, and endless possibilities in the world of engineering! Meetings take place on Fridays at 12:00pm-12:30pm in the MESA center. |
